Hey there.

I just ordered the complete package TASC and have a few questions concerning it.

#1) I am curious to see if I will need to break it down once I receive it, in order to wipe off excess oil.

#2) Is there any particular brand of ammo that works better, or that I should avoid using in my new weapon?

#3) Is there anything in particular that I need to do, once I receive it - other than shoot the crap out of it of course!

As a side note, my office is right up the hill from Colona (AT&T - next to the John Deere Golf Course), which was my deciding factor (as well as all the good rep RRA has) in purchasing this weapon.

Open it up. Wipe off the excess oil. Run a patch down the bore. Fire away.

US made, brass cased, new ammo.

Shoot the crap out of it. I am assuming that you have never had a Rock River LAR-15 before. It will be very tight when you get it. Don't expect to push the pins out with your fingers on the first go round. They will have to be tapped out. After you break it down a few times, it will loosen up (a little bit). Other than that, fire away.

TVC184...I have apparently trained you well, as your "in before the mod" comments are pretty much what I would have said.

I figured that you would answer him in a timely manner after the weekend. I thought he might check back before then.

BTW.. that is all that I did with mine and it is running like a champ.

I had mine blessed by a Shaman from Upper KhazakUsbekiKurdistan and Richard Greer.  Shoots great but it went grey prematurely and loves to blast hamsters
