Barrel maker for 24" 1:8 SS bull barrels?

How are the barrels marked?

Expected accuracy:  Federal GMM Sierra 69 grain, 10X scope, bipod?

Barrel maker for 16" 1:9 unchromed LW pencil barrels?

How are the barrels marked?

Expected accuracy:  GMM69 Sierra, bench rested, irons on A2 variety?

Will the 24" and 16" uppers switch back and forth onto the same lower with standard A2 fixed stock or alternately, the same telescoping CAR15 stock?

Uppers after assembly, are they test fired-proofed, when you buy bolts for the upper?

Technically, what cartridge are these uppers chambered for?  5.56mmNATO, .223Rem, some variation, which throat/lead?  Any options available like the Wylde chambering for best function and accuracy?

(Is it true like another thread on this AR site says, that a JT barrel actually got sent out with no rifling in it, a 24" bull?)

Should not result in any problems

We test fire for function on all complete uppers with gas blocks and randomly test fire on the others.

We chamber our for 5.56 Nato

I'm sure that it is.  We have had around 5 barrels in the past 6 years that have came through without rifling, I know that 3 of those occurred during the post election rush.  Up until those 3, checking for rifling in a barrel had been a concept like shaking ammunition to make sure that it had powder.  Since then that has became another point of inspection and we have not ran across another since.  Everyone makes a mistake, we took care of the problem, learned from it and made measures to prevent that one from happening again.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Thanks,

Jesse

Thank you for the excellent response info.

Sorry for hard questions, but having asked and been answered,  the answers don't bother me a bit.

I appreciate the effort.
