So I asked about two months ago if kits were coming back and was told they would be at some point.
Then a few weeks ago kits disappeared from the site. Are PSA kits a thing of the past? I truly prize one of my rifles that is "All PSA" that I built myself, with a PSA lower, marked upper and marked bolt. Will there be more kits or what? |

im betting they wil have more once they can keep up with demand. I'm betting that apparently they're doing fine selling everything individually at a higher price and so don't care to assemble kits anymore. unfortunately thats a bit too tin foil hat for me. i dont think they are being that much of a grinch.. I think its just supply /time versus demand currently. |

The answer is A and C as that's where the markup appears to be and no one seems o feel like just telling us what the deal is. They seem to have no problem slapping bolts into the rifles they sell, so logic dictates that they have them, they just dot feel like sellin them to anyone. Either individually now, or in kits. |

Kits are a luxury / convenience. You can't sell a whole rifle that won't fire. That's not gonna happen. It's gotta have a BCG. And guys that need / want a bolt, need / want a bolt so their rifle functions. BCG's, as a single component, need to be available for that reason. Both of those are more of a "need". Kits just offer the convenience of buying everything needed to complete your rifle with a single click, hopefully (as a consumer) at a discount. It's not a "need". If you're having a hard time keeping up with demand at all, you start by eliminating the "luxury" offerings first. |

They don't even give the option like many places do of "add a BCG for $120 or whatever" I'm happy with the parts I get from PSA, I'm not even bothered by the wait times, but the fact that I have to scrounge all over the Internet for a BCG that I know they have, but won't sell kinda grinds my gears, especially considering I need that bolt for a "PSA boltless upper" and LBK I have arriving. I'd have bought three kits over the last month if they offered them. It's the massive PITA finding a decent BCG has become that prevents me from bukkijdng my stripped lowers. |
