I placed an LAR8 A4 order the first week of October 2011 and was curious if there was an approximate of how much longer it will take. I realize this probably gets asked all the time but I am getting anxious to shoot it.

Your dealer should contact Customer Service with his order info. They can give a lot better idea of lead time than I can on a specific order.

if you have not already done so you should have plenty of spare magazines and have them loaded so when your rifle gets there you can beat a path to the range.
when I got my lar-8 I only stopped at the house long enough to mount an optic then went straight to the range and blowed off about 200 rounds

I have 10 mags but they are sadly unloaded at this time. I still have to get some ammo. How long was the wait on yours? The first few months wasn't bad but now I feel like it's been an eternity.

I think the back ground check took about 5 minutes and then another 10 minutes for paper work. I bought it off the shelf.  be paitent and you will be estatic when it gets there I have owned mine now for 2 years and I think the more I shoot it the better it gets.

Ordered my LAR-8 on 7-3-11 and received it on 12-01-11. When I ordered it I figured it would take awhile to come in and I was ok with that. While waiting I bought mags , reloading components and a Leupold 3X9 scope, then went to town loading up some ammo to sight in the iron sights and get the scope on target. MC.
