Do you have an ETA of when you will have the LAR-40 uppers available?
Thanks

This is your YEARLY reminder that the a-bomb was built in less time, by now twice as less. And now after I'd say 6 years of R&R and reminders like mine, still no rifles delivered and still blaming it on "magazine mfrs" do it or be quiet. DannerTrax

Danner,
Please don't take this the wrong way, but please practice your reading comprehension on the post immediately above your most recent contribution where I indicate that we have started shipping rifles and that uppers will follow closely behind. .

So you're saying that it's time to make another bet with my friend who orderded his a couple years ago and was promised by a RRA rep to have it last summer. Candy from a baby!

Hey Pat, what do you want to bet this time? Easy money! Cha-ching!

Okay, don't believe me.  But when people start posting about their newly delivered LAR-40s, some folks are gonna have to eat crow jerkey.
These aren't shipments on th enon-commercial contract or to writers...these are rifles filling the oldest commercial back orders.
Have a nice weekend guys.

Several times daily, I get the opportunity to field tech calls and today I got my first consumer who had received an LAR-40 complete rifle.  His primary call was about optics, but it was a pleasure to talk to him both about how he was going to use his new LAR-40.

Now that the rifles are starting to ship, how about the magazines?

Mags are shipping too.
Please remember that the mags are proprietary to the LAR-40.  They will not work with other conversions that we are aware of, particularly thos ethat are supposed ot feed from Glock mags.

Steve,

Will the .40 caliber uppers work on the 9mm lowers? Can I just remove my 9mm upper and slap on the 40 upper with new mags and start shooting? Also, will era start selling the parts separately (i.e. barrels, bcgs, etc)? I have an extra era 9mm upper receiver, a rail system, etc ready to go, and was hoping to build it out with .40 caliber components. Thanks!

A couple of changes will have to be made to the lower, but nothing big.  Buffer and feed ranp.
