| Just picked up a LaRue LT112 to house my NF 3.5-15 scope. On my other LaRue scope mounts the rings have the screws on the tops and bottoms instead of on the sides for the LT112. For the other mounts you're supposed to tighten the screws on the bottom of the ring before tightening the top ones. Are there any tips or tricks like that for the side screws on the LT112? Is there any particular tightening pattern that you've found that helps? I'd like to use the feeler-gauge method to keep the scope square with the mount. Thanks in advance! |

Just tighten up in a cross hatch pattern like you would for wheel lug nuts. I just tighten till I cannot move the L wrench with two fingers with light pressure. Guess I should get a calibrated torque, inch / pound, wrench, but I haven't. |
