[ARCHIVED THREAD] - LT-105 Question / Problem

I just got a new Acog TA33R-9 and it came with a Larue LT-105 Mount already installed. I want to switch the base around to the other side because the rifle its going on is a Stag lefty and I don't want the detach lever over the ejection port. I removed the large allen screw but the base still wont move off the Acog what am I doing wrong?

Did you try giving it a few love taps?

Yes sir, I gave it a couple little taps with a screwdriver handle and it won't budge, I shot some lube into it also, I'm afraid to tap it any harder...

May have to apply heat if it was loctite was used
