Any of you fine gents have some good pics to share on your bolt guns??

I'm hopeful my F4 will clear soon and pry looking to be a primary bolt gun piece..

Lots of searching and very little found unless I'm completely missing a thread somewhere..?

I'm thinking a new Bergara B14 might be in order...

Anyone have an issue with the locking nut loosening when you shoot?  The suppressor seems secure but every time I check the locking nut it's backed off a bit.

The last several Form 4 Trust apps I received were right at 12 months, as if they stuck them in a drawer and then pulled them out and approved them exactly 1 year later.

How much would he charge for just the first 3 inches and no cap? Think Surefire Warden style.  One of my hunting areas is no can and the TQ brake is the only reason I don’t use the 6.5

That tube and cap came from SDTA so that would be where I started. He charged me for his time only so that skews the costs. If I had to guess it would cost at least $200 for him to manufacture the whole shebang.

They are heavy but awesome. You will not find a better suppressor at that price. You won’t find a more accurate suppressor at two or three times the price.

Disclaimer: I’ve been a fan of LaRue stuff since shortly after receiving my first mount.  They make excellent stuff, to the point that now I just assume what they build will meet or exceed.  Having said that...

They’re every bit as good if not better than advertised in my opinion.  I own 3 TranQuilos and a hand full of other cans.  None are close to design, quality and precision as the TQ.  It does everything well, but I think my favorite is the mitigated blowback.  It works, and is very helpful for keeping my suppressed LaRue’s clean.  The way it locks up to the brake is also really impressive.  I bet you’re going to like it.

Meh.  Suppressors and accuracy aren't really a thing.  I own more than a handful of guns; same for cans.  My TranQuilo isn't any more or less accurate than my other .30 cal cans.  I bought it because it was cheap at $429 (after factoring in $50 processing fee that would not apply to buying a can in my dealer's inventory).  I would never pay full price for a TranQuilo.  It's too heavy and the proprietary mount is cost prohibitive.

Well, think about it.  You spend an extra $99 for every rifle you own, and you've now jailed them all into only being able to accept a TranQuilo, since it shares mounting options with exactly ZERO other guns.

My TranQuilo lives on one of my LT rifles.  It can't go on anything else in my stable, and none of my other suppressors can go on that rifle.  Meanwhile, all my other cans happily swap back and forth amongst all my other guns.

Again, at $399, the TranQuilo is great, and I'm pleased with it.

Are you kidding? Most proprietary suppressor mounts cost at least $30 more then the Tranquillo brake and you'd have to put them on every gun. Most suppressors up until Dead Air's KeyMO system used special mounts that only worked for that one company. Bitching about LaRue doing it makes you look like a retard.

It's only problem is weight.

Now if Mark would just make something similar to the SureFire Warden or a flash hider.

Weight is a significant problem.  Compared to the other offerings on the market, she's, well, fat.

The fact that it can't be direct-threaded is another.  Just my $.02

I used their 7” Option A tube, total weight is 18.4oz. My TQ is in jail still so the point of this was to be able to use the same mount across all my rifles. One $99 muzzle break isn’t cost prohibitive, 7 of them starts to get uncomfortable.

So troll and inarticulate internet bully then, sorry my mistake.

So tell us grand master what’s a better $400 suppressor?  As for the $99 brake you’re now upset about I’m pretty sure that is below average for the brake, there’s zero brakes that accept suppressors outside of a manufacturer? If you direct thread that’s fine, good for you but are all your rifles threaded with one thread pattern? How did you determine the other suppressors are more accurate and do you have any pics of your testing to show?

Are there better suppressors than the tranquilo? Pretty sure I said there were. Are there better suppressors at the price point? I think not but I’m open to new ideas.

I’d say that’s fair, it is beefy for sure. Never cared for direct threads just due to perceived lack of concentric threads and possibility of baffle strikes but if that’s what you prefer, it’s what you prefer.

I'm guessing if any changes were made like lighter, or mounting there would be negative effects on what their target out come was all about.

I have 4 tranquilo's and god knows how many muzzle devices. I know the girl is a little heavy but with that comes durability.

The one thing I  think sets the tranquilo apart from the rest is the lack of excess back pressure when not running a adjustable gas block. My other cans have a ton more blow back and if you drop a mag with rounds still in it they are coated with crud, with the tranquilo this is not a issue,I personally think that leads to a cleaner more reliable rifle. I also don't keep track of the zero with each can they are machined well enough to be interchangeable with little to no zero shift.

Take it for what you will but at 400 these are a steal,I have a hard time not calling in my uu kit numbers and getting a couple more...the lack of back pressure and the interchangibility are what really sells it for me.

Mark, question for you. Or anyone that has a TQ and a tAR barrel.

How much zero shift should one expect if running the TQ on a 16in tAR barrel seeing as it's much thinner then the Stealth?
