Ok all here is my dilema. I have a pistol lower and a rifle lower. I want a larue lower to SBR. I cannot order a larue lower before I order the 12.5 upper. How can i make this work if I order the upper first I will be in violation cause I have a rifle lower without an upper. I dunno maybe ill have to order an upper for the rifle lower I have now. If anyone can suggest anything im all ears.

Buy a generic virgin lower and make it a pistol lower. Thus the 12.5 is for the pistol. This is SOP.

I have a pistol lower already but i also have a rifle lower can I use the 12.5 for pistol while I have a striped rifle lower?

It's not illegal to possess both, but there is concern that the ATF might try and prove constructive intent.  Have a friend hang onto your rifle lower - or the 12.5 upper - whichever.

ETA: Just as long as it takes to get your Form 1 back...
