So heres the deal, I heard rumors that LaRues wait for a complete PredatAR 5.56 could be as long as a year and are these guns really worth the wait? I want to purchase just one more AR and have the money available so I'm wondering if people here think it's worth the wait for one (I really want something that is lightweight, accurate and reliable, as it's going to be my new carry coyote gun). I've heard nothing but great things about them and am really on the edge of ordering one. Thanks for any input as it's greatly appreciated and if this topic has already been beat to death I apologize and feel free to point me in the right direction or if this is the wrong section. Thank you!

John

I think if you spend any amount of time here you will figure out that they are.

Yes, definitely worth it. It speaks for itself when they are selling for $5,000 on gunbroker.

I really like mine! It is accurate, light, and looks sexy as hell.

Oh not to mention I have never had a single malfunction with it.

You won't be disappointed. There is a wait but no firm timeframe right now. My OBR 556 took three weeks earlier this year, others have been waiting on different models for a year (excluding PredatOBR models).

Thanks everybody for the input! Is it easier/better to go through a dealer or order straight from LaRue? I have an FFL lined up if I wanted to go straight through LaRue but I was curious about ordering one through a shop. I tried to find a dealer locator on their website and found nothing. Anybody know of anyone in Oregon? Thanks again!

If you decide to go through a dealer try this guy.

When did you order? Approx. order number?  I ordered my 5.56 tAR this past Sept. and at the time they told me 4-6 months.  Now, who knows!

How does a guy change things on it such as the muzzle devices? I wanted a different one they sell. Thanks again!

Add the muzzle device to your cart and in the comments section of the rifle order ask them to install it.
