I just pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered the Coyote Carbine, now i'm feeling like a kid the night before Christmas LOL..Any ideas on what the lead time might be on this?
Thanks in advance |
Two years ago ordered a Nickel BCG; it shipped 6 months later. I cancelled it but got charged 20% 4/7/14 Ordered A4 Varmint Upper w/TRO rail. Hope to have it in April. Is that unrealistic? I feel like Charlie Brown kickin' a football that Lucy is holding.
I will update this post as I get shipping information., fortunately they don't charge my card until just before they ship |

Not glad to see this I tried to ask the lady on the phone about different barrel options and if it would delay an order I got the brush off answer of 1 to 4 weeks I ordered an AR0565X 20 Inch Predator Pursuit Upper Half I could have changed barrel lengths or modified my upper. This is my second RRA I purchased a CMP A2 through PK firearms because I did not want to wait half a year or more. At least delton only hits you for the 20% IF THE ITEM WAS SHIPPED ALLREADY, CHARGING A CANCELATION FEE FOR SOMETHING NOT IN STOCK SEAMS CRIMINAL.

The Predator Pursuit isn't a Varmint A4 and uses a different barrel. The unthreaded 20" stainless HBARs as used on PP rifles are in stock at this point and are being used on builds. Not knowing anything about your order, I can't tell you where it is in line.

Steve,
So, new member and first post. Saw this thread and of course I started thinking of my RRA 20" Predator Pursuit upper I ordered through Pete at Legal Transfers on 3/28/14 and was wondering .................. Haha. Can't wait for it together here. Any idea if a 4-5 week ( from order date ) was a reasonable lead time given by Pete or am I destined for a loooooongg wait. I realize without an order number I can't be given a positive date just hoping for a little inside info. Thanks for your time here, what a great opportunity for people to engage with a vendor. Bill |

You might be in for a long wait.... I ordered an "in stock" barrel on April 10th. Still waiting. Into working day #15 with no confirmation of shipment. Piss-poor service compared to other vendors I've bought from if it was truly "in stock." We don't list any barrels as being in or out of stock, so I'm not sure where your information is coming from. A quick call to Customer Service (866-980-7625)could probably take care of your concern over your order. Steve/RRA |

Thanks Steve I will try to get an order number.
I understand the position firearms manufacturers are in right now and the last couple years to a small degree. I work in production as a machinist and when things get swamped something has to suffer be it price or quality or in most cases lead times.. Bill |

Wondering if you guys got the barrels in yet for your Standard A4 Uppers? If not, any ETA? Thanks! Won't know until Monday or Tuesday. We're doing inventory this week, and nothing is coming in or out. They weren't in yet prior to the inventory, but they could be with the product that isn't being received and counted until we're done counting and reconciling. Steve/RRA |

My dealer put in an order for me sometime over the last month for two black X-series rifles, one in 223 and one in 308 with consecutive serial numbers. Any idea on how long a wait I'm looking at? Thx. Probably not gonna happen. LAR-15s and LAR-8s use different lowers and completely different serial numbers, both by prefixes and in the number ranges. Sorry. Steve/RRA |

Steve/RRA Well, lets hope that it does happen - an RRA rep told my dealer they would do it, and it raises the coolness factor of the pair tenfold. However, regardless of whether the numbers are custom or not, whats a guess at the current lead time for 223/308 X-series rifles? |
|
Who's your dealer...I can try to track down the order that way.
Sequential serial numbers across two ranges, your lead time, if it can happen at all, would be in the years/decades. Just two X-s (one LAR-15 and one LAR-8) it'll be several weeks to a couple months. We're filling back orders in date order. Some are close to current and others (we phased them in one caliber at a time) are still in late January Barrels are dictating the pace of builds. Steve/RRA. |

Hi Steve. New to the site. I put an order in with a dealer for an R3 Upper w/ Chrome BCG last week. He told me it should be a 2 month turnaround, but wasn't 100%. Can you give an update on the current lead times for an R3 Upper? Thank you so much! -Derek Several weeks to a couple months is about right...wholly dependent on barrels. We ship in date order to the extent possible. The barrel issed in the R3 is the same as used in the new X-Series 223 rifles, so you're competing with any/all prior orders for both models that are already in the production line up or back ordered. Steve,
I'm a new member on the forum, but wanted to say thanks for taking all the questions on lead times. If you get time could you give me an idea on a time for a predator pursuit 20" upper I ordered 4/16/14. The order number is 229806. Thanks for taking the time. |

We have a customer service department that would love to help each and every one of you with your questions about specific orders. They generally have better information than I do, and can better help you in a shorter timeframe.
They're here M-F, and the phones are on from 0800-1600 (Central) on those days. We're past the all lines bust all the time days...Just dial toll free 866-980-7625 and ask for Customer Service. This is the time of year that I spend a lot more time out of the office, and will be spending a lot less time on ARFCOM as a result. Please take advantage of CS being there and being available to help you. Thanks. Steve/RRA |
I cancelled it but got charged 20%
Hope to have it in April. Is that unrealistic?
