The barrel is a heavy profile.  The gas block is a shaved A2.  The bottom is marked with Colt’s CAGE, MP, and 5.56 NATO.  There is an “R” near the chamber end and I think there is an “O” closer to the chamber but I couldn’t get a good pic.  There is a dot of yellow paint on the top of the barrel between the gas block bosses.

If anyone is looking for a particular pic, let me know.

Thanks for the photos. I like that barrel profile, looks like the heavy 11.5".

Was left unsupervised and this minty Colt R6550 that I've been hunting after for a while followed me home

I swapped out the factory fcg for old school purple SSA. Everything else are left untouched.

Nice find.

Gotta admit, I've been kind of looking for one of those myself.

You lucky dog! I've had my eyes out for one for about a year!
No luck yet.

Just finished updating an old Colt AR15A2 Government Carbine PD trade-in of mine. Swapped the A2 upper for a Colt M4 upper receiver and put a Midwest extended FSB rail on it.

New longer 15 inch Centurion Arms M-LOK free floating handguard, it was a very easy swap with my older 13.5" Centurion Arms handguard I had before (see pic below).

Just 2 mounting screws because the older 13.5" Centurion handguard uses the same proprietary barrel nut.

My same carbine with the older shorter 13.5" Centurion handguard (picture taken in 2022).
YMMV

I recently acquired a 2002 Colt Match Target Carbine. I'll make a few changes eventually!
I would post a photo, but I need to enter a URL code!
I tried 3 times! To complicated, I guess!
