I have a ddm4 v7 pro in gun metal grey. Quite often when I am shooting at distance and squeezing off rounds slowly I experience double taps which I understand is due to being such a light trigger pull at roughly 2-2.5 pounds. Sometimes I get 2 shots but others the 2nd one loads and I assume I am getting a light primer strike as I will pull the trigger to fire again and the firing pin has already dropped. When I eject the round the primers are struck, sometimes looking like a good strike but others definitely light. This has happened on all ammo, suppressed, unsuppressed, with other shooters, but like I said, only happens on an accidental double tap. If I load the round a 2nd time it has never failed to go bang. Does this sound like a hammer spring issue? Would swapping the trigger spring possibly solve the issue? Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in. Thanks in advance. |
