Decided I was short changing my 16" OBR by just using a CCO (Aimpoint T1), yet I didn't want to go to a complete precision rig. So, after some thought I said screw it, and decided why not have the best of both worlds.
So this friday I'm bolting one of those new fangled Leupold Mk8 CQBSS's to my 16" OBR. 1.1-8x Short Dot, ahoy! The game is afoot!

I have been looking at these a little but I am not sure if the optic has the reach im looking for. I opted for an LT139 thanks, I have an accupoint on my OBR now but this is a very possible future plan. If by chance you have a good place to find one and care to share an IM would be great.

With all the Leupold bashing that has become the norm, I hope these end up blowing the competition out of the water. Dont get me wrong, for that price, they need to.
Just cracks me up when the right person says some negative shit about a company, everyone decides thay are junk. I have had a bunch of Leupys and they have all worked well. I think they need to catch up, but they are a good company AFAIK. I have pretty much committed to Vortex PST's and have sold my PMII's, but I could see buying another Leupy |
