Long story short, I haven't taken the AR out of its case in three months. I accidentally left the M3 turned on to the highest setting when I put it away. When I got it out, it was still nice and bright. It did lose a little bit of brightness, but was still very visible in direct sunlight.
I know there's a lot of question over battery life, and this may help give a little insight to the battery's life. |

I did not expect it either. It was obviously a little dim compared to normal, but like I said, it was clearly visible in the sun.
Also, it's an older model. I'd guess it's almost a year old now. It's also still running on the original batteries and has seen maybe 3k rounds. |
