Just picked up a used M4LE in 22lr via the EE. In shipping the "forward assist" button was cracked. Anything special about that part on 22lr, and what do I need to do to replace it? Any standard forward assist and roll pin work? TIA! |

So after a call to CMMG customer service I got my answer - it's a standard forward assist on most uppers and on some it's a fixed plastic cosmetic part. Here's the kicker, I bought a used upper. They sent me the replacement part free. That is incredible customer service. Today I went out and bought a stripped CMMG lower, a complete CMMG lower parts kit, and several spare upper/lower parts. They've earned a customer. |
