Does anyone know if this mount is compatible with the UBR stock?  It would seem foolish for them to produce something that wasn't compatible with their own popular product but someone has told me it isn't.

Thanks in advance for your help

IIRC the ASAP just replaces your end plate just like any other single point sling mount, therefore it shouldn't matter what stock you have.

It is not, the ASP is designed for carbine buffer tube stocks.

Is not the UBR a carbine stock?  The CTR is a stock meant for a rifle but the UBR is an adjustable like the sopmod ar standard adjustable stocks.

Stocks like the CAR stock, M4 stock, SOPMOD, CTR, MOE, VLTOR stock all attach to a carbine buffer tube.  These stocks require a receiver endplate.  The ASAP sling mount would replace that piece.

The UBR installs on an entry buffer tube.  Think like a short A2 stock.  Just like the A2 stock, the UBR does not need or use a receiver extension.  Henceforth the ASAP mount will not work on the UBR.

if you look at the ubr, and look at an extension plate, you can clearly tell it will not work.  just like it wont work with the prs.

The UBR rear end is basically a A2 setup so this current version of the ASAP is not compatable.

That helps.  Thanks for the info and explanation.

Definitely not compatible.  I can see it won't fit on my UBR.

Will any single point sling mount work with the UBR?

Depends on the single point sling adapter that would connect to the stock.
