How is the post held in? The standard FSB holds the post with a notch, is the MBUS post just screwed in?

Are you thinking about replacing the post? That's what I'd like to do sometime.

Screwed in, and removable. Magpul provides two different length roll pins to secure the post once you have it adjusted where you want it.
