Hey guys:

I'm having an issue with mounting my MIAD grip with the optional enhanced trigger guard insert properly on my AR's.

The issue lies in the small allen that attached the forward section (part closest to the magwell) to the lower.  On two separate lowers (CMMG and DPMS) my two separate MIAD's don't quite align properly, forcing the allen's insertion to be at an angle.

No amount of pulling, cajoling, cursing, or praying to the flying spaghetti monster will make my MIAD's enhanced trigger guard insert align properly.

Any ideas what I'm messing up on?

Don't tighten the grip screw all the way, leave a little play in it.  Then line up the holes in the trigger guard and the lower.  Once you get the little allen screw in tighten the grip screw.

Yep, this was the ticket.  Took about 4-5 turns off of the screw and the allen assembly went in with ease.

Thanks again sd_norske.
