MPX 8" Handguard fit Issues.

I have a Gen 2 MPX-K with the 4.5" Barrel. The original handguard slides right off like it's supposed to. The 8" MI MPX handguard that I bought from Midway does not slide right in. The rail thickness on the stock Sig handguard is about .094" and the MI 8" rail measures about .106". I think this is why it's not fitting because the MPX receiver rail for the handguard is around .098" wide.

Any ideas on how to proceed? Should I just send it back to Midway?

That one is definitely not going to go into the channels on your gun. I would suggest return or exchange.
