Can someone post some detailed pics of the front hook of the MS2, the one that you would use on the forend if using it in 2 point fashion?  I looked cant seem to find any, trying to decide on whether or not to order it but would like to see more of that hook.
thanks

I've had it for a while now... I actually use it as a camera strap though, it's too soft for the weight of a rifle for me.  On the other hand, "dude... is that a rifle sling on your camera?" is always an amusing question.

Can you expand on that Optimus, being too soft in your opinion for a rifle?

I realized that it needed to be locked after it fell off my back onto the concrete garage floor.

ouch I hate it when that happens, one time one of my teamates was fielding his new pony on a callout and he was using one of the old military slings with the frog for an ad hoc neck loop sling and it came undone and sliped out of the front sling swivel into the gravel of the alley we were running down, boy he was pissed

The cloth material just seems to soft and squishy and doesn't seem to spread the weight out for me.  I've switched to aSavvy Sniper Tac 1-2sling with slightly stiffer webbing and it just feels more comfortable to me, and the bungy section doesn't hurt either.  I do like the clips on the MS2 better though, my Savvy Sniper setup just has two H&K type hooks, so it's a bit harder to switch from the single point to a two point. It's really just a matter of personal preference I suppose.
The MS2 does make the perfect camera strap for a digital SLR though with the right hardware, so I can't complain.
