Does anyone use this mount (Daniel Defense Mount) as a forward attachment for their MS2?
If so, how is it? It looks like my choices are this or the CQD forward mount. Thanks |

Works well with the MS2. My only complaints are that the DD sling mount doesn't have the gentle inward curve that the RSA has, so it really sticks out there; and the DD doesn't have rounded edges, so it is a bit unforgiving of quick strikes with sloppy hands. I'll be getting an RSA when they become available. |

I'm neither a iron-worker or mettalurgist, so I wouldn't be the guy who'd want to try that. Plus, I haven't got the tools. Would need a torch and some sort of press to bend it. (If I used a vise and a clamp, I'd be concerned about bending something I wouldn't want to bend given the relatively small size of the part.) ETA pr0n ... Not a good shot of the part in question––I don't have a better one––but here it is anyway.
