| I know I will most likely not get a direct answer to this, but I was curious as to whether the MS3 would address the concern about the MS2 having a narrow strap, and that the MS3 would have a larger strap to address this "issue". I thought I'd read someplace that that was going to be one of the changes made to the MS3, and just wanted to know for sure. Some gentlemen and I are having a discussion about it on another forum and they're telling me no changes to the strap will be made. |

If the webbing is a concern, it must be to a very small group of people as I've never heard that one before. The complaint as I'm aware of it, and I think I remember a thread or two about it, is that the narrow strap makes it uncomfortable with a heavy gun. I think for most of the folks with that complaint the solution was obvious, find a sling pad that fits. |

It's(MS2/MS3) not made for you to stand around all day with your weapon hanging off of it. Thats for sure. I dont think of it as a very good 2 point. To me its a solid single point with the ability to go two point if desired. It does help to have the ability to go two point if you are doing something that requires climbing or going hands on. As far a single points go none of them are very comfortable over long periods of time (6-8 hrs) period. I dont think it really matters what the strap width is, hanging 8 pounds across your neck for that long isnt fun period. |

It's more about the softness of the webbing over the width. The webbing rolls and since it is so soft it tends to be hard to slide during adjustments. The Vickers style webbing is very good and the adjustments are very smooth. The webbing of the MS series of slings would provent me from buying another one, although I like the overall concept. |

I love the sling but CTbuilder is right on.. Fixing the material would make the sling 10X better. |
