The factory usually puts some loctite on the mount screws. Must have missed yours. That should take care of ti.

Same happened to me, scews came loose after the first time at the range.  Took them out, put a bead of RTV between the riser/sight/mount, put loctite on all threads, reassembled, and I still have movement from side to side.  Doesn't seem to be affecting my accuracy much, but I don't like it not being solid on there.  Looking for other mount options, not sure i'm going to find anything though.  Last resort would be JB weld, lol.

Something is not right. There should not be any movement at all. My guess is you have a bead of rtv that is not letting everything tighten down. Take it out and if you still have any movement I need to swap it out.

Well the reason I put the RTV was because it didn't sit flush, and I was hoping it would take up the gap so it wouldn't come loose again.  I just separated the mount from the riser and set it on, took a crap-tastic blackberry pic.  It doesn't sit flush at either point (mount/riser or riser/sight) and I didn't think it was really supposed to.  Top of the pic is where the mount attaches to the riser.

I was actually looking at the 30mm high cantilever mount in your store, looks a lot sturdier being one piece rather than two.  Does it sit at about the same height as the regular mount?  Can't have it any lower than where it sits right now.

Oh and sorry for the thread jack

The cant mount won't fit the M4. Hard to tell from the pic. Loctite the screws without the RTV. If it does not perform as it should we need to swap it out.

Thanks

That sucks, sure looks like an M4 it's mounted to in the photo, lol.  I'll try it again, but that's how it originally came from you guys, screws had loctite on them.  Screws were very tight when I pulled it apart this time as well.

So there are no other mount options for this sight at the moment (aside from removing the riser, which I need on there)?
