Got my new PA long eye relief with a adm mount today.  With mbus all the way back to the last slot and the ADM
Backed up all the way to that I have to mount my PA multi rectile int the first slot on the quad rail for the scope cap to clear the mag.   Should I ditch the scope cover in order to move the red dot to the receiver rail ?   Just set it up a few minutes ago and haven't shot it yet so just looking for input before range time.

Flip the magnified to the side then open the scope cap.

How close to the optic do you mount the magnifier? Right up to it or enough room to get your finger in-between?

I would think your eyes will no doubt tell you the optimal distance between the two.
