Major discoloration on my Entry's upper. I have only used light coats of Rem Oil on both the upper and lower and have never put away in case hot or applied oil while hot. I have not altered or attempted to alter the finish in any way. It almost looks like primer. I have tried to rub it out, but nothing helps. This gun is only 1 year old with about 1000 rnds fired. I suspect it is a defect in the finish. This is my first RRA AR, and have heard of no major problems with them, but I am not happy to see this. My Bushmaster, bought the same time, shot the same amount, still looks perfect. Can I get this upper replaced, I don't think the condition is reversable. |
