Guys,

I'm not finding what I need on google or the search here so I figured I post and see what you use...

I know I've seen it mentioned here but for some reason, search isn't coming up with anything.

I need to take my SiCo adapter off my .22. I've seen mention of a tool used for it. I'm looking for something better than my needle nose pliers. All my other wrenches are too fat for the slots.

What is everyone using to accomplish this?

My M&P 22 came with a wrench that works just fine.

My M&P 22 Compact did not, so it got this treatment:

(But it was also a one time removal, as I was installed a Twin Tech adapter that has SiCo o-ring engagement...and you can use a standard adjustable wrench on the flats it has)

I need to remove my adapter b/c I need to pull and de-lead my barrel.  I picked up this pistol used, cleaned it, and put it together.  I didn't even think about lead build up.  Check out my awesome targets...http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_5_16/159831_.html&page=1&anc=1738960#i1738960

Vice grips huh.....  I guess that's next.

I work on small things occasionally so I have one of these.

It works on my adapter and is made of much stronger steel than most of the slim wrenches that are included with things that require them.

Ouch, $30.  Its a good idea though, thanks for the link.  I'll put that as Plan B.

Yeah, it's tough to justify if you are only going to use it for this. I just had a small collection of cheap skinny wrenches that came with different things and are pretty worthless and annoying and this replaced them all.
