I heard you're not a fan of Skittles. Is this something we could remedy? Given an A or B answer where both A and B are fine options you've got to live the moment ![]() Live the moment...fine words for our next camping trip. |

I say we wait to see if MDW's golden ticket is a giant April Fool's joke. If it's legit and Mark is really doing ANOTHER epic lottery (as if UHFO is't epic enough) then perhaps another crawdad bake is in order. Wait... Epic lottery... What is this and what happened before? |

Someone fill in the clueless? Last year we started off wanting to pitch in and send Juli some flowers to say thanks for putting up with us during the bad times but raised enough money we bought a bunch of crawfish for marks crawfish trailer and LT had a big crawfish feast. Google you might find the thread in the archives Mark F posted some pics. |

Did you handle the money last year? Quoted:

I'm game. Although........ a little red "crawdad" dillo would be nice in return
Just a suggestion, not a demand Did you handle the money last year? I did. It was all processed through GoFundMe.com. Once the funding was cut off, I had a pleasant phone conversation with Mark Fingar to get the contact info of LaRue Tactical's Legal/Tax/Money guy. Basically, GoFundMe makes out the check to whoever the account holder directs, and then mails it to their address. The only crappy part is that GoFundMe swipes like 7~10% off the top. The fee is calculated based off the money you raise, and we put up $1100. $1007 was the final amount that made it's way to the LaRue crew. If I were to do it again, I'd only be comfortable doing it through GoFundMe, just for convenience and transparency. |

I can start a new thread once we get approval or whatever. |

I think the idea is a great idea, just as it was last time. I'm sure it makes LTs day knowing how much their customers enjoy being customers. This is something well deserved by everyone at LT.
I also love Dillos as much as the next guy. Actually, I probably love them more. With that said, I don't really think it's polite to hint, ask, recommend or mention receiving a Dillo in return. It feels like the gesture takes a hit when people start mentioning Dillos in return. Let's do this for the reasons that exist and leave it at that. |

This is not about the dillo's. If you need one take one of the NIP ones you have, grab a screw driver, scratch into it "now we are even".
Or any of your other SWAG. This is a thanks to LT, please be satisfied with a few pictures of whatever event LT does or nothing at all. |

I know it is NOT what this is about - but I can not help but picture a crawfish range day in my mind. OM, they would never clean that place up afterwards. The whole range would be paved with crushed red shells, and all the rifles would be soaked in seasoning from grubby hands. The Horrors of it. |

When and where do I put the money? I have never had crawfish so I might have to go down to LA and get in a cooking there. Come on down. Chef is a registered coonazz and a pretty durn good cook. Just wait till June when I get home alright. Sounds good to me. |

Allow me to respectfully clear up any misgivings. At no point have I personally suggested that those involved in this effort receive a dillo in return for the event. If it came off that way, my sincerest apologies. What I am suggesting, is that a dillo be made to commemorate the event, similar to the "100,000 facebook likes" dillo, or the holiday dillos. It would not be free, but rather a limited run, possibly just sent out with orders or simply for purchase only. And again, I am only suggesting it, not demanding it. I figured it would be a good addition to everyone's herd |
