Will Magpul ever get the rights to the Masada/ACR back or have you lost all rights to the design? Bushmaster really dropped the ball with it's production/development.

And as long as we're here, what about the Massoud? We ever going to see this gun at our local ffl's?

I will SEMI Second that specifically in the 6.8SPCII in the new mag you guys build for LWRCI.

BUT what I want to see is the PDR!!!

I'd sooner expect to see them develop further SCAR products like a polymer handguard/rail extension with M-LOK features, a polymer lower/trigger module that takes SR25 pattern/.308 PMAGs, a stock, etc. They could do a 6.8 conversion kit for the 17S consisting of barrel, bolt, and polymer lower that accepts the 6.8 LWRC PMAG M3s since the 17S upper receiver is wide enough to accommodate the mags.

None of these items are serialized firearm components so it all fits within their wheelhouse.

I have been contemplating buying an ACR but the lack of aftermarket support is the reason i keep hesitating. Magpul this is your baby I would expect you guys and gals to have all kinds of accessories handguards, stocks, lowers you can change the grip on etc. Its really weird that you guys do not develop products for your brain child.

I can't help but think Magpul not supporting the ACR with accessories, is them saying they're not happy with the way things went down with the developement of the rifle after they handed it off to Bushmaster.

The ACR is a dead rifle. Bushmaster fucked everything up with the way they handled it. When it came out at twice the price Magpul promised us, that killed it right there for me.

SCAR is the way to go. Hope to see Magpul making SCAR stuff at some point

It wouldn't be professional would be my guess.  Bushmaster has the product, it is in their court.  I know there are a lot of us who wished things had turned out a little different, but I can understand the reason why Magpul doesn't make comments about it.

They already make the lowers for bushmaster as well as the handguards is there some kind of agreement that they cannot make aftermarket parts for the rifle? Did they not have a good legal team
look over the contract that they signed and get screwed? I think the people who bought into their hype about this adaptive combat rifle that is not adaptive at all at least deserve some answers.

Yet the scar has always cost significantly more. These days $750+!
