I'm looking to get one to mount on the side of my 308, and I want one that sits the lowest.

Would this be the micro reflex, or the micro red dot?

Fixed base Micro sits lower. They are due back in stock in July

My other question would be, which one would be able to sit on top of the scope, so I would be able to see the dot over the elevation turret? The scope is a Vortex PST 4-16

I will have to measure when I get back in town on Wednesday. That scope has pretty high turrets. You might want to use a mount that puts it on the side.

Gotcha. Planned to get the mount that goes on the tube, so i can cant it if needed.
