I want to put a PRI flip up front sight on my new build,  which would be a better set-up?
Buy the cross bolt type and put it on my plain SPR Barrel, or have you mill the four flat spots into it and get the set screw type.  Are there pros or cons to either set up the way I have described them? I am attempting to make it as "correct" as possible, so I believe the set screw type is called for.
Your expertise is appreciated

Either is fine, and solid.  . The set screw one requiring the Milled Flats is the correct one.
