I ordered a CMMG SASS today since I can't afford an OBR at the moment.  I do want to put a LaRue mount on it though.  I plan to use a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 on it.  I need to know if the LT112 is my best bet if I want to try to get to 1000yds.

I would def go with your choice.  Based on the specs of your scope, you will have plenty of elevation adjustment for at least 1000yds (with the 20moa built into the mount) plus a little left over to go beyond 1000yds later (based on 175gr).
