On January 17th I purchased a Element II and a AAC MPW 9" and efiled via the trust route. On January 30th I also efiled for a SDN6. On June 1 I received my approve form 4 for the Element II. I have yet to recieve approval for the other items. Is it normal for multiple items to be approved days/ weeks apart if they were submitted at the same time? I know it's only been 5 days, but I have heard rumors of them approving all outstanding efiled items at the same time. A buddy of mine had his three suppressors approved at the same time despite submitting the paperwork on different days. I'm new the NFA game and I appreciate the advice. I have myself paranoid that somehow the submittal got messed up or something has gone wrong. Thanks for the help. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I've seen "batch approvals" for the same person allow submissions from 2-3 months apart being approved in the same day. I've also seen forms by the same person being submitted days apart, take a couple weeks between approvals. EForms should've made this more consistent than paper, but it didn't. For paper examples, I had: 11/4 approved 5/9 11/9 approved 4/22 11/27 not approved yet 11/27 not approved yet ...go figure. For more proof...look at the ATF Wait Times page. With EForms, you don't have to worry about the difference in individual vs entity applications...but SS shows they've received 1/13-2/1 approvals this week. |
