FULFILLED !!!

Well, she was delivered on Fri. Took "Lucy" to the range on Sat, shot Lithuanian military surplus around an 1" to 1 1/2". NOT one single malfunction with 250 rounds.
Stand by for pics.

BEFORE ––- As she was birthed.

An hour later...

MY LT-111 was too high / BIG brains, small head. Had to go this route instead; Burris Pos-align.

2 1/2" from center of buffer tube to center of scope. I wanted that damn LT-111 to work, it didn't tho., what a piece of art!

Clearance on the front end.

Do you reload ?
Good ! The OBR is gentle on brass, a few slight scratches, no mauling from this Lady.

Why I don't worry about BUIS; I'll just club you to death with this...

Marks box of joy. "I love you man!"

This name says it all, REALLY.

My LT-104 showed up the same day.

I think this Bushy just became a safe queen for awhile tho.

Time to get the Dillon fired up and start working on the 125 grn. TNT's I'm gonna hurl @ the coyote's that stick around.
Thanks Mark and crew, I am one happy camper and a blabbermouth.

Nice rifles...

I like the first pic.  There's just something sexy about an OBR like that.  Kinda like a beautiful woman when she first wakes up in the AM and hasn't got all dolled up yet.

Well, Like I said, the  LT-111 for me was about 1"+ too high. My cheek weld turned into a chin weld to get a full glass in the scope.
Funny thing is; the LT-104 on my AR-15 is about the same height as the OBR with the Burris rings.
The OBR when shouldered now is magic for alignment!

LaRue does make a set of low- as -you- can- go rings, I might give the boys a call and see what we can come up with.
Gents, the wait for the OBR is worth it.

Dang!  They really don't skip on the goodies when it comes to the OBR!  Now if only I can get my patent idea off the ground soon and maybe I will be able to afford one of these fine rifles.

make sure if you are running anything 40mm ish to NOT get the ultra lows. I tried the set off my 700 with the mk4 4.5-14x40 on them and the objective bell would  dip into the rail on my bcm middy with larue 9.0. Upon further investigation, It seems that the bell definitely sits below the rail level.

TnFarmer,

Don't get hung up on what we were able to rush and shoot.

We ain't trying to win any matches, just bein' sure it'll go under an inch and that tells us all the potential one needs is there.

I understand that completely, but I do like to see what you guys can do in a rush. I know if there was time they could be dialed on in.  But, that's what us owners are for.

Depends on what ammo you use too, so they'd just be wasting ammo on their end dialing it in unless you used the exact same stuff as the testers.

I like the first pic best too - fixed A2 stocks look more "sniperlike" to me.

I placed my order the first week of 2010.
Like a dumb-ass, I didn't know about the pre-order sale.
I made sure my FFL was squared away, by double checking on it. They also changed their pre-pay policy, so I paid ahead of shipping.

After I die, my wife is gonna find out how much I really paid for my fun.

It may look more sniperlike, but when you have the length of pull adj. to fit you like a glove, it's pure heaven.
That Sopmod stock is an outstanding compliment in my opinion, part of what makes her mine o mine.
And oh, how I like heaven !

Wait, so what goodies did you get? I've got one OBR coming from the pre-shipment orders and one from after the first shipped, but before the price hike. I'd love to see what you got with the post 2010 order.....
