My PSA upper. Their response - sorry it is past 30 days. Not everyone has time to take 4 uppers to the range within 30 days. They will however string you along long enough to get past the chargeback period, then come back with "Sorry it is past 30 days".

Edit by PSA:  The 5.45 uppers were clearly described, sold, and priced, as a one-time clearance/closeout back in 2012. Please IM your order number, and date you first contacted CS, and we will investigate.

Update by PSA:  Unfortunately, in order to replace under warranty, there must be parts to return. In this case, OP no longer has possession of the items purchased to return for credit or replacement.

Is the "30 days" from purchase, or receiving? I ask because it takes them the better part of 30 days just to get it to you. If from purchase, you'd have to take it out IMMEDIATELY upon receiving it and make a claim if anything was wrong, I guess.
Can someone clarify this?

is 30 days how long psa uppers are under warranty ?

Call your credit card company.  If PSA won't warranty their product you have some protection depending on the card you used.

i was under the impression PSA uppers carried a lifetime warranty against defects and manufacturing errors?  I would think keyhole'ing would fall under one of the two.

Yea, if he wants sympathy , he will need to give more info than a target and vague accusation.

How was he strung along, which upper, how long has it been, ect.

I have never seen a target like that.  At first I thought it was a joke.

Or maybe someone forgot to rifle the barrel?

I got screwed royally by them. They don't care and won't respond. I was missing all sorts of parts, charged for items I never got, and got defective 5.45x39 uppers that keyhole.

The should part of your statement really stands out to me b/c it applies to my situation. This was an issue from 2013 that was unresolved. It involved 5.45 uppers which keyhole with every weight and brand of ammo.

ok all kidding aside, i heard some of the issues witht eh 5.45 uppers.. that being said, i know PSA stands behind its product. I find it hard to believe they told you to get lost.  PM them here, and seek resolution. IF you dont, or didnt persue it then when you first discovered the issue, i dont see how its PSA's fault that you chose to not have it fixed.

I was not aware of the issue until months after the order arrived. Then was told by email and PM on here that they were looking into it. This went on for months. Then suddenly after another follow up the response was it was past 30 days sorry. My initial complaint was WAY past 30 days to begin with. If I had known this then I could have done a chargeback at that time. I was strung along, that is the conclusion I came up with. I paid $240 or $270 I can't recall now for a used upper receiver, front sight, barrel nut / delta ring, A2 flash hider, and plastic handguards. That is about $90-100 worth of stuff with the only part of any value the front sight and receiver. All I asked for was a store credit or some 5.56 barrels and they refused any resolution or attempt to make me happy.
