I'm tired of waiting and figured those of us waiting on our stuff from BATFE can gripe here. Obviously this is specifically for things purchased through Hansohn.
I'm currently waiting on a SiCo SpecWar 556k sent on 05/20/2016 |

You've got another month...
My last two Form 4 (Trusts) were submitted in the middle of March and middle of April. It took each one about eight months to the day for approval - and then took two weeks from approval to Hansohn Brothers receiving them in the mail. Just be thankful you didn't wait until the last minute in June/July. |

I'm hoping the HPA passes so Hansohn can max out my card on SiCo stuff lol |

READING COMP FAIL!
I did Not purchase from Hansohn Brothers Jan 2016 Somebody, somewhere messed something up. Hard to determine who. ATF V dealer. Actual submission May 16, after whatever was fixed, still waiting. Me and a buddy bought the same day, same time, same dealer. His was approved in August 16 |

Since so many forms were submitted, NFA Branch data entry times started to increase around March last year and started to take longer as July approached. Note that July forms were just starting to be input last month. The pending or received date will be much later than when the forms were mailed. Below are the steps your forms take.
- Form 4 and payment are mailed to Atlanta - Bank of America processes the payment - BOFA mails the form 4 to Martinsburg - The forms then sit at NFA branch until a contractor inputs the form into their system - Once input, the forms are now considered "pending" We don't sit on forms for suppressors we have in stock. For special orders or pre-orders, form 4 submission will be delayed by a few weeks to ensure serial numbers are pending to us. If you have questions or concerns, please, do not hesitate to contact us. |

I did not buy from Hansohn, I was looking to beat the 41F deadline and they were out of stock on what I wanted.
I purchased my can on 6/20/16 and the dealer mailed the paperwork in, i used a trust. The can went pending on 7/15 and was approved 4/9. I got the call yesterday to pick it up. Hope this helps with timeline info. |
