I received a RRA retail catalogue in the mail not to long ago and finally thumbed through it. I noticed many new products to include stocks, sights, handguards, mags etc. being labeled as NSP..
What does NSP stand for? |

That's an acronym that we used during product development, and it stuck with the part numbers when we transitioned to production.
Product development can take awhile, and we have to have parts in development numbered for the drawings, vendor quotes, etc...So once we have a number assigned to something,it's generally better to keep it than confuse everyone associated with it already by going to a new number or partial number (such as changing the lettered prefix).
