I contacted Magpul by Email last week and haven't heard back yet- and haven't been able to reach anyone over the phone for some reason... Hopefully you guys can help me out here- I seem to have stripped out the screw on my BAD lever. It may also be the backplate that's stripped out; the threading looks worn out on both actually. Right now, when I try to tighten down the BAD lever on my bolt release, the screw will just freely spin and the BAD lever will remain extremely loose. Would you guys be able to send me out a spare screw/backplate? (The lever itself seems fine, and doesn't have threading). I've got a match coming this Saturdy in which I'd hope to be able to use my BAD lever–– |
| Your not supposed to overtighten the fastener. The lever is supposed to be a little loose so as not to effect the balance/physics of the bolt and bolt hold-open. If it actually stays on and works don't mess with it till after match and then request replacement from Magpul. |

It's always been loose, but the loose-ness is at the bolt release not how the BAD attaches to the bolt release. This time, the BAD lever is so loose, that if I hit the lever, it's a 50/50 chance for the screw to come flying out and the bad lever along with it... |

I figured that's what it was... I'm sure they'll fix you up as soon as they are aware of the problem. |
