what about a taller harris, like the 13.5" to 27" Swivel head...add a qd attachment and it's a useful option on rooftops.

There is the point, aforementioned, use what you are used to.
Then, I can tell you I use three. Atlas is used on my mil-spec replicas. I think there are at the lower end of expectations and performance, but do the job well enough. My favorite is the Tango Down bipod. A little larger than the 6-9" Harris, but folds backward, which I like as well. Next, is the Atlas. Another fine performer, and now offered in both standard and SOPMOD, which is the same, but a little more rugged (not needed for range). |
