I bought a dedicated cmmg .22 rifle for my daughter today. It has I believe the Quebec style lower reciever and the evolution 16" upper. When I took it out this afternoon it would fire and extract but the next round I would have to charge the rifle again and eject a live round. This happened consistently for about 100 rounds. Anyone have an idea on what could cause this or know how to fix? Please let me know if any pictures would help.
Thanks!
Edit: ammo used was cci .22 tactical and federal auto match.

Did you use any lube on the rails?
Also, make sure the bolt is fully seating. Some may drag on the bolt catch. It will slow the bolt and keep it from fully cycling.

I have found the the Federal Auto Match doesn't always work so great in some of my .22 firearms. Seems its a "mild" loading. I have had some issues with it in both pistols and rifles. Not saying this is the problem but I have learned the hard way to always try various ammo's in .22 firearms, especially when they are NEW!

Just to make sure, lightly oil the rails, like one drop of oil spread on each. Then try some CCI Mini Mags. These are very good consistent rounds that make a lot of .22's run right and break in. Also, try removing or adjusting the BHOA as it can rub against the bottom of the bolt if it is not set up properly.  And, it never hurts to do the chamber buff as described here:

Make your .22 AR  run smoother.

Thanks for the advice! Did the chamber trick and everything worked great today with the same ammo, my daughter was very happy. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!
