Hey guys I got my larue rail a while back and I installed it with no problems and im super happy with it like all my larue stuff but ive run into a problem. Yesterday I got a set of troy battle sights and set them up on my gun and come to figure out my front sight is canted. Now im looking at it like WTF and i see that the whole rail system is rotated a little bit pas 12 o'clock. So what do i do? I pulled the rail off and everything looks and feels right but I wanna get it working right so i can zero my iron sights

Try calling Larue and asking one of their customer service reps. If they cant help you they'll give you to someone who will be able to solve your problems. 512-259-1585 Let us know how it works out.

Sounds like when you installed it, you tightened the barrel nut a little too much. All you have to do is remove it and take care that the the top hole (the one for the gas tube) is at top dead center. If it is slightly off to the side, the whole assembly will be off.

yeah I think you don't have your rail on perfectly straight.  the barrel nut is the deciding factor whether your rail will be on straight or not.

take something very flat and very stiff and have it run the length of the upper receiver and your rail, see where the rail contacts the piece and if it isn't even on both sides you know your rail isn't on there perfectly.
