We have had several requests for modifications to our build kits. For example changing out the buffer or a CTR stock instead of a Moe stock. We will soon be expanding out selection of kits and need your feedback on what the new kit configurations should look like.

Thanks,
Jamin

The CTR stock as a substitution in  the MOE lower build kit would be awesome variation on that lower build kit.  I would buy one. A pistol lower Build kit would be nice too.

1)  I would like the Ergo Grip suregrip as a MOE alternative.  I find it more comfortable depending on the purpose of the build.

The Moe + grip would also be a good option once that is released.

If we were able to add in a core for the MOE grip as an option for less than buying it alone I would be more likely to go with the MOE grip.

2)  I agree with the CTR over the standard MOE and/or the ability to add in a Noveske end plate with the QD port would be nice for a good neutral sling attachment point.

The Magpul asap is nice but it does not allow for QD swivels, however,  I'm sure some might like that as an option.

3)  I would like the option of the enhanced trigger guard over the MOE especially if priced less when packaged then if bought individually.

If you had the option to substitute the CTR stock for an upcharge, I already would have bought one.  I am still toying with the idea of the MOE stock.  Held one yesterday at my local fun store and it wasn't too bad!  I'm also thinking about an ambi-safety, but you guys already have a pretty good price on the DSA unit.  Just my .02.  Keep up the good work Palmetto!

I'd love the option of changing the pistol grip to a Tango Down. It provides a better grip for me.

**EDIT**

I'd love a Tango down pistol grip with Magpul CTR buttstock, and a lower parts kit. All-in-one. I'd buy that so hard.

An ACS, UBR, or PRS option would be nice for folks who are doing a precision build, or just want the extra weight, especially on the premium builds.

MIAD + CTR

Or better yet, build your own kit and let people piece whatever they want together.  As long as they get a stock, a grip and a lower kit, 10% off.

+1 for option to swap MOE for Ergo ambi suregrip, even if it's like a $3 upgrade.

+1 for buffer options

Do whatever is going to keep things easy for you guys and in-turn cheap for us

I'll tell you my recommendation(s) and then why.

Recommendation:
Sell build kits without the trigger.

Why:
I'm one of the wierdos that really likes the "classic" buttstock and pistol grip, yet I want a really nice trigger, like the Gieselle SSA. I don't want to spend $300+ on the Ultimate Lower Build Kit, just to get the SSA, because I would rather not have the Magpul parts included.

Second recommendation:
Allow a trigger upgrade option with the Classic Lower Build Kit.

Why:
This is a second recommendation since a nice trigger with the classic parts is a bit of a niche market, but it serves the same purpose as above.

NOTE- I must say that I am impressed with this thread, because it shows me that PSA actually gives a flip about what their customers want.  I will be a first-time PSA customer with this upcoming build, and I already have a good feeling.

We are having a major overhaul with our inventory system. This should be done by the end of May. After this, we are going to try and implement as many of these suggestions as possilbe.

I kind of like the idea of having an LPK builder option or a Lower Build Kit option. Or maybe a complete rifle kit builder option since we are about to launch about 6 new versions of our uppers.

I guess I'll wait a few more weeks to start this build.  I'll gladly give my business to those companies that allow their customers to have a say in things.

This sounds excellent! A build your own LPK, Lower build kit, and even rifle would be the greatest. I'll definitely have my friend use the build your own rifle option if it's offered with-in the next few months.
