I've never owned a LaRue item, mostly due to limited funds due to career choice. And, we've never used them on our dept. issued weapons, so I can only say I've read about the great reviews they receive. I recently had the opportunity to order an SPR-E directly from LaRue's website for a T&E optic some of my officers wanted to try (GRSC 1-4 optic). I placed the order on Wedneday at 1100 hrs. I received it Friday. Now, I'm sure the item was in stock, but I was impressed by the turnaround time. Then the mount itself was build solid, felt substantial, and locks up tightly to the RRA flattop designated as the test weapon. All in all, I'd just like to add my story to the lengthy list of satisfied customers. (Oh, I kept the hat for myself; it's good to be the range officer/boss) |
