hey Mark, why haven't you made a dillo that is a CAR wrench?

you have one that is for 45s so I think having one that is a bit larger with notches for the castle nut isn't too much to ask for...

I mean really, it seems very feasible. you don't really need the leverage of the wrench handle, using the tail and head in your hand should be enough.... (maybe?)

the only possible problem I can foresee is the thickness of the dillo as compared to the castle nut. this is only a problem if someone prefers to have the castle side of the nut facing the receiver instead of the stock...

any ways, I think its one more cool tool I can have in my range bag.

I have included this expertly drawn design for the prototype.   note that all beverage entry capabilities remain not including twist off entry methods.

Mr. CAR wrench dillo would need a 3/8" drive adapter hole in his butt to make it work.

Mr dillo would also need to be made of steel

how tight are you guys cranking yours down?? I just snugged mine with a wrench and it has never moved, nothing I couldn't do by firmly grasping a dillo

Same here, I just hand snug it down and it has never moved, thousands of rounds later.

Best. Picture. Ever.

All good hearted joshing aside i really like that idea.

To be honest, if you need help with a twist off (which were invented to be hand openable) .....

I believe there was a previous thread from a while back asking of Mark would design a better wrench for the AR.  Something with more than 2 or 3 lugs for the barrel nut.  I'm prettu sure if he designed a new wrench he could work a bottle opener on one end of it...just might be too much leverage.

Already have a wrench.  Think the should be concentrating on getting Christ-mas dillos made a long with other goodies.

Plus own page two.
