Late last night (10/18/16) I ordered 1 upper and 2 charging handles via your website. When I placed my order I was surprised to see that I had been charged for 2 uppers and 4 charging handles. I immediately sent e-mails to your customer service to correct this mistake. I also phoned your customer service at 9:00 am (10/19/16) to correct this problem. I was told nothing could be done. That I would have to decline acceptance of one of the uppers and I would be credited when It returned to Palmetto. Is this really the only way to handle this ??? I called and e-mailed as soon as I could. HELP !!! Oh......I received an e-mail saying 2 uppers and 4 charging handles were shipped.

I have learned that sometimes while in the middle of an order, if you leave the " cart" screen and return to it, and have to reenter info (CC/personal info) that it will double your order. Did it to me today, barely caught it. This time.
Ask me how many D&H mags I got last time.

Definitely a website issue. That has been happening to me a lot too when I am trying to checkout

Perhaps you can assist our tech team by giving details on browser used, whether mobile or standard web interface, and whether logged in or as a guest?

It has happened to me using an Ipad and on my galaxy S6. It is when I am logged in. I don't recall it happening on my desktop. I hope this helps

This happened to me with the bcg/5.56 deal.

I was charged for both and I decided to pay for both.

But I wouldn't have for two uppers.

Happens to me routinely using Chrome browser on OSX and Linux.  Add some stuff to your cart.  Start the checkout process.  Change your mind and go back to do some more window shopping.  Go back to the cart to try and check out.  Now it says there are no items in your cart.  Go find the items you want and add them again.  Check out.  The duplicate items don't show up for me until one of the very last steps of the payment/checkout process.

The same almost happened to me when I ordered this a few months ago. I caught it when I noticed the price was double what I expected just before confirming the order. Firefox on OSX.

What Ive seen when ordering is you're not logged in and add something to your cart. You go to check out and you must login.

When you login, you'll see nothing in your cart.

You go back and add the item to your cart.

You go to checkout and mysteriously you'll see both items in your cart.

I'll try it again when I get home.

I cant duplicate what I've seen before. But it has happened to me and I caught it before finishing the checkout process.

same thing happened instore a few months ago. took almost 4 weeks to get credited back. I purchased a handgun in store and was double charge. It only showed one charge on my receipt in store but when I got home and checked my credit card it showed twice. It was like pulling hair to get it resolved. I was told it was the new update in the software used in store and it was happening to many people.

Something similar happened to me on my last order.

Put an upper in my cart and go to check out.
Get to the check out screen and my cart is empty.
Return to the upper and add to cart.
Go back to check out and just happened to notice that there are now 2 uppers in my cart.

I usually triple check my stuff before hitting that last button to place the order but I can see where some might miss it.
