I just recently purchased a SSA-E trigger to put in my LWRC M6.  This is my first Geissele trigger.  I have always used RRA 2-stage NM triggers in the past.  I realize it might just take more trigger time to get use to the difference but I was wondering if you guys could let me know what to expect in the "feel" with this trigger.  It is supposed to be a 2-stage trigger.  I know the spec calls for the first stage to be slightly heavier than the actual second stage or break (this may be what I'm feeling) but this trigger feels more like a single stage with considerable creep, to me.  The "take-up" is somewhat rough and the break is unpredictable.  It just doesn't feel like it is very consistant.
So what is the consensus?  Is this normal and do I just need more trigger time with this set-up or should it be addressed with the mfg?

Krazyblade,

The first stage should not be rough, make sure the sears are greased and make sure the trigger is not rubbing anywhere.  It can rub in the safety or in the receiver, especially the slot where the bow comes through the bottom of the receiver.  Remove the hammer, disconnector and trigger spring and put the bare trigger in to check this.....it should swing freely.

The second stage is light on an SSA-E.  If you are used to heavier triggers it may take some getting used to.  If you still have problems please call the shop and we will take care of you.

Thank you, very much for the reply.  I tried what you recommended and the trigger swings perfectly, with no interference at all.  I reassembled it in the rifle and have been doing lots of dry firing and this is what I have came up with...there isn't any discernible difference in the first stage and when the trigger breaks. 99% of the time there is a slightly rough "drag" just before the trigger breaks. It is actually masking the break; if that makes any sense. I have found that, with the upper off, if I apply a very little amount of pressure with my thumb, on the hammer, it eliminates the "drag" I mentioned. When this is done it also creates the very smooth, effortless, take up that I would expect.  I actually feel the break of the trigger and it is constant every time.
