I bought a new Beowulf last year and JUST got a chance to shoot it for the first time due to deployments. Anyway, it's all from AA and its a 16 inch. I tried to fire it and it will sometimes eject, but never load a new round when it does. I tried two different mags also from AA and had the same results. It also will not lock back the bolt on an empty mag. when i cycle the bolt it works fine. Can anyone please give me suggestions on the remedy?

Call us and we will get everything sorted out. The ammo batch might be a possible cause in a new tight gun but your problem sounds a little more severe.
Note that we have recently reworked many of our loads for the Beowulf using newer powder types including some high energy grades. This has helped raise the muzzle velocity, increased consistency, and has helped with reliability of the weapon under adverse conditions. |

I have been trying to get hold of you guys but have been unable. I completely understand since the sky has fell.
I took the gas system apart and I think I have found the issue. - the gas block is pinned and it looks like where it's pinned the gas hole won't line up. - I think I can tell its not lined up through the hole that is through the outside of the gas block that is lined up 180 degrees out of the gas hole. This is assuming the through hole is exactly where the gas hole is on the other side. It appears to be. - when I have the triangle hand guard mount installed and the gas block installed, the hole though the gas block is half a hole off with the hole in the barrel. - if I take the hand guard mount off I can get the hole through the block to line up with the hole in the barrel but then the pin holes don't line up. I took the rifle out today and actually watched the BCG try to cycle. It appears to only go aft about 1-2 inches. I know you guys are really busy but I would sincerely appreciate any help. Terry |
