Approximate weight on the OBR 7.62 18" with a PRS stock and heavy scope (NF/S&B).  I'm guessing about 14 lbs with a loaded10 round mag...I would like to hear from someone with this type of setup who uses this for field/hunting use?  I'm not talking stand hunting, I'm not talking about carrying it to the blind (lived and hunted in TX for several years).  I mean carrying the weapon all day long over rough terrain.  The beauty of the .308 AR is, I can break it down  and put it in my pack..

Thanks in advance.

I'm right around 15lbs.  PRS, 5.5-22 Nightforce, and bipod.  I haven't carried mine all day, but it would be very heavy for that.

I have not weighed mine but it is a 18" with a NF 3.5-15 and PRS. I carried it for the first day of WI gun deer season. On the second day I carried my Remington 700.
If you want it for hunting take a look at the predatAR.
I love my OBR but hiking up and down hills with it all day in 1 1/2-2' of snow was tough.

I just hunt with my PredatAR . If i'm in a blind.... I'll go with the OBR. If i'm moving all day, i'll move with the PredatAR. I've gone all day with my OBR, but I don't bother with the bipod nor the suppressor. Bare gun with a scope and mag is more than manageable.
