Let me start by saying I have two 7.62 OBRs and a 5.56 t'OBR and have been absolutely thrilled with them and they are without a doubt the very best semi auto rifles that I have had the pleasure of shooting.  Lots of other Larue products as well.

In the 7.62s have had great success with PMAGs and put through several hundred rounds on both rifles both suppressed and unsuppressed without a single failure.

I have only taken one of the steel OBR mags out of the plastic.  It pretty much won't feed at all.  It appears that the front of the mag is cut "too high" and/or the "tab lips" are too big so the tip of the bullet can't escape the magazine when pushed from behind and the bullet is pushed back into the case. It doesn't matter if the mag is fully loaded or if its a single round.

Does this make any sense or am I "doing it wrong"?  Thought I'd ask before calling them.

First problem I've ever heard of with an LT mag. At first I was going to say it might be an OAL problem with your ammo (too long) but I'm not sure without knowing the ammo you're using.

I only have the two LT mags that came with my OBR and I've never had any problems. PMAGs have been fine too.

Definitely unwrap the second LT mag and test to diagnose trough elimination. If it shows to be limited to that mag, the folks at LaRue will take care of you. Give it a shot and see; they've been nothing but flawless in my use of them.
