The other guns in your safe are just not as fun to shoot since you started shooting the OBR? +1 Others may be cheeper to shoot, but not as fun. I got yelled at over the PA by the RO today because I wasn't allowing for a full 3 seconds between shots. What fun is that, Range Queen? For those of you from Michigan that shoot at Pontiac Lake Rec., you know who I mean. |

I have taken others to the range with it, but nothing else has been shot in months... I have actually considered or sold things I don't shoot much anymore to fund the OBR addiction. I need a reloading setup and components......and with the OBR JR on the way, I will have to try for a matching SN OB to make a set...

| Accordingly to my two sons, I am an OBR addict. Accordingly, this is my confession (since I understand its good for the soul). My Rock River LAR 8 (308) has had little use since March 9/10, 2010 when I got my OBR. I took all my 308 brass shot through my OBR to be reloaded around May 1 and just got 1700 rounds back. Didn't realize it was that much, so I instructed my boys to go count the remaining 308 brass I shot since I took the first 1700 rounds in. According to them, I have another 1300 empties available for reloading (obviously shot from May 1 through last Sat) and that such fact conclusively proves that I am an OBR addict. Please help me justify my past and future actions to my children by assuring me I don't have a problem (other than coming up with $ for ammo) and that at least 3000 rounds through an OBR since March 9/10, 2010 (averaging one day a week at the range for about 4 hours at a time) is not excessive but perfectly normal. Any support/reasoning you can give me to justify to my children that my actions are perfectly normal would be appreciated. |

I just wish I could afford to have the same infection! |
